Kitchen butcher’s block made of beech wood standing on a 4-legged strong pine stand. The stand has mortise and tenon joints. The block has been well used and obviously had an interesting life. It has been used on both top and bottom surfaces. There are 4 pieces missing from the sides of the block which could be repaired (please see photos). There are 4 steel rods through the block with plastic plugs each end. Two are missing from one end (please see photo). There is some evidence of worm which has been treated. This item would add great character to any kitchen.
