This beam would look great as a mantel shelf over a fireplace which would really set it off or even a chunky floating shelf
It has been lightly sanded ready to have a finishing touch
It has rustic edges and ends
The timber is in a rustic condition, a lovely old length
It’s nice and solid and a lovely old colour
It has some character and its own quirkiness with some old marks or scratches
There’s a bit of old woodworm damage that has been treated
It could perhaps do with a thorough clean (see photos)
It has had a corner cut off (see photos)
