Reclaimed oak timber beam
This beam would look great as a mantle shelf over a fireplace which would really set it off or even a chunky floating shelf
It has been lightly sanded ready to have a finishing touch
The rustic front edge shows its age
The timber is in a rustic condition, a lovely old length
It’s nice and solid and a lovely old colour
It has some character with some old marks or scratches
There is a bit of old woodworm damage that has been treated
It could perhaps do with a thorough clean (see photos)
There is a slight bow in the wood
