It’s been a busy few weeks here at Somerset Reclamation. A lot of new stock has come in – more than we’ve had time to list on the website – but it’s all here at the yard and well worth a visit if you’re looking for something a bit different.
We’ve had a great batch of 1930s doors, including a few beautiful old glass-panelled ones – perfect if you’re after something with a bit of character for an internal space. There are also some lovely plank doors in various widths and finishes, including some of the shorter, more traditional country cottage sizes that people often ask us for.
For stone lovers, we’ve had a fresh delivery of white lias, ideal for garden projects or building work. It never hangs around for long, so if you’ve been waiting, now’s a good time to get in touch.
One of the more unusual arrivals has been a group of old pine cupboards from a closed-down Victorian shop in Somerset – well-made, full of history, and very usable. Whether you’re after storage for a kitchen, hallway or boot room, they’re worth a look.
We’ve also picked up a modern tall radiator (a bit of a rarity for us, but handy if you’re mixing old and new), along with some nice old pine furniture – a blanket box, a chest of drawers, and a small dresser, all solid and full of life.
If you’re interested in anything mentioned above, or just fancy a browse, pop down to the yard or give us a ring. As always, we’re happy to send photos if you can’t make it in person.
